Fair Hill Saddlery is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with retail inventory systems, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced equestrian retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inventory accuracy across our Shopify platform.

  • Receive, process, and organize incoming inventory shipments.

  • Create and update product listings, inventory records, and product information.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

  • Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure inventory availability.

  • Assist with product organization and warehouse management.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable learning new software and systems.

  • Horse and equestrian knowledge is preferred.

  • Retail inventory, warehouse, or stock management experience is a plus.

Part-Time Sales Associate

Location: Fair Hill Saddlery
Schedule: Part-Time, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with the possibility of additional days.

About the Position

Fair Hill Saddlery is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in the equestrian industry, and is comfortable performing a variety of retail and inventory-related responsibilities.

As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with product selection, provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and support daily operations. In addition to sales responsibilities, this role includes inventory management duties and loading hay, feed, and bedding for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked sales floor

  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise

  • Support inventory management, including counting, labeling, and reconciling products

  • Load hay, feed, bedding, and other merchandise for customers

  • Help maintain accurate inventory records

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent customer service

  • Perform other retail and store support duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Reliable and available to work Thursday through Sunday

  • Comfortable using computers and POS systems

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Ability to lift and move hay, feed, bedding, and merchandise

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Horse or equestrian experience preferred, but not required

  • Previous retail, customer service, inventory, feed store, farm, or equestrian experience is a plus

  • Ability to lift and carry hay, feed, bedding, and other products

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
