Taking boots off:

• Use your hands or a boot jack to take your foot out carefully. Unless there is a heel kick design that aids boot removal (e.g. Bramshaw), using a step or the other welly will cause damage to the heel.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Storing your wellies dirty, damp, in direct sunlight or drying them too quickly can cause color changes and cracks.
• After every wear, clean with water. It’s best to do this straight away as wet mud washes off more easily than dried-on dirt. Never use detergent as it damages rubber.
• Air dry naturally, including the insides. Never dry next to a heat source. Crumpled newspaper helps dry the lining.
• If storing your wellies for a long time, clean and dry them thoroughly and store them away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
